You’ve just reminded me that I was at that night at Fenway last summer. One of the players–I think it was Papelbon or Varitek?–stood there for the entire pre-game with a helper monkey on his shoulder. As a SpEd teacher, I was torn between being touched and laughing. It was very surreal!
